MISSISSAUGA, Ontario -- BioSyent Inc. has released its financial results for the first quarter ending March 31, 2026. The company reported total sales of $13.9 million, a 27 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Pharmaceutical sales reached $10.8 million, up one percent year-over-year. A new oral health segment contributed $2.9 million in sales, while insecticide sales dropped 58 percent to $120,102.
On a trailing twelve-month basis, total company sales hit $45.9 million, a 20 percent rise. Pharmaceutical sales in that window grew 11 percent to $40.9 million, and insecticide sales jumped 59 percent to $2.0 million. The company's EBITDA for the first quarter was $3.6 million, up 14 percent from Q1 2025, while trailing twelve-month EBITDA rose 21 percent to $12.5 million. Net income figures were not detailed in the summary.
BioSyent attributed the growth to strong performance in its core pharmaceutical business and the addition of the oral health line. The decline in insecticide sales for the quarter was noted but partially offset by gains over the longer term. The company continues to focus on specialty pharmaceutical and healthcare markets.
